Within the project, the National SUMP Support Programme (NSSP) will be revised and aligned with the revised TEN-T Regulation, with a particular focus on urban nodes.
The project addresses the role of urban areas as key drivers in the development of an efficient and multimodal trans-European transport network (TEN-T). It introduces modern approaches to sustainable urban mobility planning and the management of urban nodes, upgrading traditional practices through innovative concepts and technologies. Special emphasis is placed on the development of alternative multimodal nodes, such as Eho-Hubs, which create multifunctional spaces for new mobility solutions and services, thereby improving the accessibility and attractiveness of urban nodes.
