ROAD3P

EU Program / Principal / Funder etc.:
MVZI - Ministrstvo za visoko šolstvo, znanost in inovacije

Project lifespan:
2023 - 2026

About project:

The ROAD3P project was funded under the public call “Activities for Strengthening Project Offices at Public Research Organisations” and brings together six Slovenian public research institutions: the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG), the Institute for Economic Research (IER), the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia (UIRS), the Institute for Ethnic Studies (INV), the Institute for Hydraulic Research (HIDROINŠTITUT), and the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics (IMFM)

The main purpose of the project is to enhance the knowledge, professional competencies, and operational efficiency of project offices within participating research organisations. ROAD3P supports the introduction of innovative and more effective management practices, improved research data management, and strengthened institutional capacities for preparing and managing research and innovation projects, with a particular focus on participation in centrally managed European Union funding programmes, including Horizon Europe

ROAD3P creates a collaborative consortium that unites project partners with different levels of experience and organisational maturity. By fostering knowledge exchange, networking, and the sharing of best practices, the project contributes to research excellence, strengthens project management capacities, and increases the success rate of applications to Horizon Europe and other EU programmes. The consortium is built on the principles of innovation, cooperation, and mutual learning, enabling participating organisations to develop sustainable support structures for international research collaboration.

The total value of the ROAD3P project is 1,258,330.43 EUR.

The project is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the European Union – NextGenerationEU under the Recovery and Resilience Facility.
