Parking and SUMP: Using parking management to achieve SUMP objectives effectively and sustainably

Kratka predstavitev


Smernice povzemajo rezultate skupnega dela koordinatorja projekta Mobiel21 (Belgija), strokovnih partnerjev Univerze Napier (Velika Britanija), mreže POLIS (Belgija), DIFU (Nemčija) in Urbanističnega inštituta RS (Slovenija) ter 16 partnerskih mest projekta Park4SUMP.
 
Predstavljeni ključni rezultati štiriletnih raziskav projekta Park4SUMP naslavljajo občine in mesta, ki želijo pregledati ali vzpostaviti strategijo upravljanja parkiranja v skladu s svojo CPS. Dodatna vrednost smernic je, da so v njih poudarjeni koraki procesa priprave CPS, kjer so lahko potencialni ukrepi za upravljanje parkiranja izjemno učinkoviti, kar lahko zelo koristi pripravljavcem in izvajalcem CPS. Smernice krepijo tudi zavedanje, da upravljanje parkiranja v celostnem prometnem načrtovanju ni le delovanje, ki olajša parkiranje vozil, temveč je osrednji in strateški ukrep za upravljanje povpraševanja po potovanjih z osebnimi avtomobili in doseganje ciljev CPS, predvsem v smislu zmanjšanja uporabe osebnih avtomobilov.
 
Tematske smernice so del zbirke smernic EU, ki dopolnjuje prenovljeno drugo izdajo evropskih smernic za izdelavo CPS.
